Well life is definitely back to the crazy busy norm.
I swore up and down that when I moved I would focus on photography and would NOT have three or four jobs again. I don't have four, but I certainly have three time consuming ones and I'm really sad to say that Photography is the one on the back burner again. I haven't gone out and as much as I wanted or need to, to actually make this dream job take off. I keep telling myself that Ive only been moved for 5 months and Im doing fine, but that voice in my head keeps telling me I'm slacking and I should be doing better. I think I put too much pressure and stress on myself... ya think?! haha
I Absolutely LOVE my job at the church and wouldn't give that up. But just that and photography wont pay the bills right now, so for the mean time, its three jobs. On the positive side, it does keep my mind off of the fact that I am more alone here than I've ever been. Yes I am meeting more people and making friends, but its just not the same. I have been great up until the last monthish. The loneliness has really been trying to settle in and make a home for itself. I'm resisting and thank the good Lord that I am as busy as I am.
Wednesday I had the day off from the Y, worked a good 5 hours at the church, and then went out in the gorgeous weather to take pictures of three A-Dor-Able 6yr old girls. Lets see if you can follow this... My cousin Carol, whom I stayed with when I first moved down here, her daughter that lives here, Joyce, has twins. We've been trying to get pictures done for awhile now. Carol's other daughter, who lives in Cali and was up here visiting, has a 6yr old as well. So we all got together where Joyce is living to get pictures of all three girls at the same time. She lives out in the "country" with acres that has an incredible pond and perfect spot for pictures. The lighting was amazing and I dont know about the girls, but I had a blast!!! With all the clothes changes, their energy and yes, even fairy wings, it was the best way to spend the rest of the day.
With everything that is going on, the only conclusion that I can come up with is that the Lord is good and life can't get much better! :)
I am very excited to share the sneak peaks and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!!!
I am Glenda the mom of Sarah and we had so much fun taking the pictures. Kristina is so great with children. Thank you for the great afternoon taking pictures and the memories that you have help me keep through photos. You are awesome. I highly recommend Kika's photography.
