Beep Beep Beep Beep....
It now takes 3 alarms to help me get up and out the door in the morning. First, the radio comes on letting me know I have to get out of my dream mode and start waking up. A few minutes later my phone alarm goes off telling me this is when I need to get up, and after hitting snooze 3 or 4 times on both of them I actually get up, fulfilling the purpose of what they were made to do. Then finally one last alarm telling me that I should be leaving the house and ready for my familiar routine of 13 hours of work. Only then to come home to maybe watch an hour of TV, sit down and relax, work on pictures or try and clean something before I finally crash so I can get up and start the whole thing over again.
*For those of you who don't know, I am working full time up at the high school, and part time at the YMCA. About 3 months ago, I got put into a position at the H.S. after being a para ed substitute in the district for 5 years. I've been working in a classroom with Juniors and Seniors and I Love it up there. I go straight from there to the YMCA to work until 8pm or later
Phew!
Life has been insane lately! Only three more days of school though. I am STOKED!
We said farewell to the Seniors this last Friday night. I graduated six years ago, and being back, saying goodbye to kids that I helped so they would be able to graduate, and seeing those young adults whom I've known since they were little and watched them grow up, is such a weird and accomplished feeling. I am so Proud of them!
